Yesterday at approx 11.03 pm I saw a V formation of lights the light where very bright like the Phoenix Lights.” lights picture displayed in this article .waht is strange is that I purpously put the camera rope in my mouth to make sure it stayed on and didnt bump into anything .I automatically assumed it was a flare used by the military since I live near Eglin Air Force Base .But the base in located across a bridge about a 10 to 15 minute drive ,the lights I saw where in Destin ,Florida not to far away fron that town called sea breexe notorious I believe for man mad apparations of UFO i.e government testing of flares and navigation systems ,low lfight practices ,etc,.makes sense to use the area as a test ground the bas is so big its land mass is that of Bay County Florida .

The only tihng I find weird is why was my camera malfunctioning ,I concluded that on the way down for the roof that perhaps the shock from jumping down from the roof with the camera in my hand causes a mulfunction but it did work on the roof i clearly say the symbols light on my camera .And later it worked again ,so it must be either my imagination ,flares attached to a parachute from an aircraft at a decent hieght then let loose if the wind conditions permit and they are let go at a V formation would could easily be recreated. While I have seen stuff that defys logic and have seen what I know to be alien life ,I feel that they are perhaps spirits they look real and seem to be able to travel fast and walk through things I dont know if their human or what one thing for sure is that ghost or i.e some alien does exsist

I find this authors use of Occam's razor "the simplest answer is usually the correct answer" very amusing. The author goes on to give the "simple answer" that E.T.'s would never visit earth because of all our satellites and space junk in space that would make such a venture too risky. I think that ANY reasonable person would admit that if E.T. does exist (a big if), and they have managed to figure out interstellar space travel, then they would probably be able to navigate around space junk and figure out how to deal it. To state that our satellites and space junk are an effective deterrence against alien visitation is laughable.

Although I would agree that the simplest answer is usually the correct answer, I would counter that the dumbest answer is usually not the correct answer.

Lastly, while I find it hard to believe we are being visited by E.T., I find it harder to believe some of these debunkers' explanations. This one in particular, I would rate as one of the worst of all time.

@Joseph: That's all well and good, except for one thing -- the lights in the wide rounded arc, as pictured in the article, were seen no where outside of the valley. All other reports of mysterious lights in the night sky outside of the area, all spoke of a strict V formation of lights. Hence, two separate incidents -- a squadron of military jets flying at high altitude and a group of military flares intended for the military test firing range just over the mountain from the city that may or may not have missed their mark.

And, for the record, I am not the only person to have come to this conclusion. People with better credentials than I, have stated similar conclusions. Ask yourself this, if such a craft was extraterrestrial in nature, then why were the first telephone calls to the nearby Air Force base to see if they had anything in the air? If everyone believed it to alien, why would such a telephone call even need to be placed, let alone hundreds of them?

Wishful thinking to the contrary doesn't make it so. In fact, you would suggest before people make up their own minds to read some of the witness statements. Good advice. However, even in a court of law, there are two kinds of evidence -- direct and circumstantial. Direct evidence comes from witnesses themselves while circumstantial evidence comes often in the form of science, like fingerprints and DNA. While juries like direct evidence, it is the weakest of the two. That's because people see things different from one another, often recalling things wrong. While I might have described a suspect wearing a blue shirt, you might describe him as wearing red. This is a very common occurrence lending to the conclusion that direct evidence is not the best evidence when other evidence points to the contrary. And that brings us full circle to Occam's Razor: "The simplest answer is usually the correct answer."

Dear writer:

Your funny. Not only do you refer to Hale-Bopp but satellites and mile wide American test vehicles. But you hold an investigation on the "Phoenix Lights" without interviewing one witness. Wow if only UFO researchers could get away with that.

I don't know how many times I have told debunkers, such as your self, the lights were witnessed over many different areas and on different days and nights. The most detailed independent optics lab that studied the lights video that night found out the previous lab results were wrong. The lab that had done the work before, that all the debunkers quoted, had distorted the positions of the lights to make it fit. The same sloppy science was used with the MOGUL balloon wind trajectory calculations but the debunking groupies ate it up. Oh! those debunkers with and their pseudo-science.

The lights are in front of the mountain putting to bed once and for all the Air Force explanation, "flares", which the forgot they had dropped for two weeks.

It's amazing how the Air Force can change their story with impurity about UFOs all these years, and yet they are still considered a credible source by debunkers even when they mislead. These triangles of light were reported on many days independently before and after the Phoenix Lights display.
Maybe the next time you do a hit piece have the courtesy to interview the witnesses ... you know who I mean, us peasants.

Those who believe the writer above, all I asked is read the reports from the witnesses, after all they were there.
